Ed's prediction:

8. Portland

John's corner..

On not including Toronto:
John's not yet too high on Toronto making the playoff with JO being too injury prone as well as Bosh also having some injury problems himself.

On Milwaukee being 6th in the East
He's quite high on Milwaukee making it to 6th place which is really possible with a starting lineup of Ridnour/Session, Michael Redd, Richard Jefferson, Villanueva, Bogut. The only thing with this team is that they don't play defense. Good thing they've got a defensive minded coach in Scott Skiles which would really help.

On Dallas not making the playoffs
I'd have to agree with this somehow since the West is a tough place to be in and there are a lot of other borderline playoff teams in the West which would give Dallas a hard time making it. These teams are Portland, LA Clippers (which he penciled in as the 8th team), Denver. Golden State should have been included but the injury of Monta Ellis will greatly affect the performance of this team.

Ed's corner..

On picking Portland as the 8th team in the west
I have always been a fan of the Portland Trailblazers and I really think that this is the year they return to the playoffs. They've got a solid team that has been growing together for the past 2-3 years. Don't forget that Oden returns from his knee injury and rookies Bayless and Rudy Fernandez will definitely put this team in the playoffs. Only thing lacking now is a veteran and some experience.

Watch out for our final predictions when training camp starts. There should still be a lot of trades going on people changing address and we're excited about those movements. We haven't predicted who will meet in the finals, watch out for that too!

Feel free to comment on our predictions..go ahead we love to hear from you.
